As the backbone of orthodontics, metal braces were the first appliance used to straighten patients teeth. Even today, they are still the most commonly used type of braces.

Metal braces have many benefits. They are highly effective, even when treating the most complex cases. Modern braces are now more comfortable and effective than ever before! Finally, they are customizable with a large variety of colors, allowing patients to color combinations representing school spirit, their favorite holiday or even sports team. There are endless options!

This style of orthodontic treatment provides the same benefits of metal braces, but with brackets that are clear or tooth colored that blend into your teeth. Ceramic braces are bonded straight to your teeth exactly like traditional braces but are much less noticeable.
This type of treatment is as effective as metal braces but with the advantage of being virtually invisible. They are so clear no one will know you have them on!

If you have noticed kids seem to be getting braces younger than ever before, you are not alone. Amazing results come from treating our patients at a young age, usually between 7 to 9 years old, that have certain malocclusions. Although it is true…not many young patients need Phase I treatment, but those children that do go through this phase have impressive and dramatic results.

Phase I is directed at correcting jaw discrepancies such as cross-bites, overbites, and underbites. This early interceptive treatment helps provide more room for the developing adult teeth. It can be a life changing experience for our young patients!

Invisalign, an invisible, comfortable and removable alternative to fixed braces. This type of treatment option has become a go to for many of our adult and teen patients. Did we mention they are virtually clear? Invisalign’s aligners are so clear that most people will not even know you are wearing them.

The evolution of this technology has been so impressive. Once only reserved for simple cases, the technology has evolved making almost anyone a candidate. Most important, the results we achieve with Invisalign are as good as we get with braces!

Invisalign® Teen

These aligners are specifically designed with needs of our teen patients in mind. Unlike traditional tooth-aligning treatments, Invisalign teens use a system of clear aligner trays that are completely removable. This allows teens to continue daily activities, such as playing sports or musical instruments. These clear aligners are customized to the growing mouth of teens, and the best part is that there are no restrictions on what you can eat!
